Porsche Pre-Purchase Inspections

Know the condition, understand the risks and make an informed decision before buying.

A Porsche deserves more than a basic checkover. Our pre-purchase inspection combines mechanical evaluation, vehicle diagnostics, chassis inspection and a review of condition to help you understand what you are considering.

A thorough look at the vehicle.

  • Vehicle module scan and relevant fault information
  • Oil and coolant leaks, gaskets, seals and housings
  • Induction, turbocharger and cooling-system condition as equipped
  • Steering, suspension, joints, bushings and mounts
  • Brake life and condition
  • Tire age, tread depth and wear patterns
  • Driveline condition and vibration concerns
  • Underbody condition, corrosion and signs of impact
  • Battery and charging-system testing appropriate to the vehicle
  • Windows, locks, mirrors, seats, HVAC and infotainment functions
  • Interior condition, trim wear and signs of damage
  • Paint-depth measurements to identify possible refinishing
  • Test-drive evaluation when practical
  • Prior repair indicators and workmanship
  • Modifications and their apparent installation quality

Findings you can use.

We explain the concerns we find, rank repair and maintenance priorities, and help you understand likely next steps. Optional oil analysis, compression testing or leak-down testing can be discussed when additional mechanical evaluation is appropriate.

Arrange the inspection before committing to the purchase

A pre-purchase inspection helps you understand the vehicle in front of you. Ask the seller for service records and arrange access to the Porsche before the sale. Tell us the year, model, mileage, modifications and any specific concerns so we can discuss the inspection scope.

Our review can include module faults and available diagnostic data, visible leaks, cooling and induction components, steering and suspension, brakes and tires, driveline condition, underbody condition, battery testing, interior features and evidence of previous repairs. Paint-depth checks and a road test can add useful context where appropriate.

Know what requires additional testing

An inspection cannot guarantee future reliability or reveal every hidden defect. Compression, leak-down testing or other deeper investigation may require separate authorization. We explain findings and priorities so you can discuss the vehicle with the seller using specific information.
